Joey Quintero High Fashion Photographer, Product Researcher & Trainer
 
Joey Quintero Joey is a product researcher, instructor and professional photographer from Tucson, AZ. He is known for his critical eye and technical drive with his passion for photography. The creative process was exposed to him at an early age; having grown up on movie sets, while helping his father a chef, cater for the stars. He would sneak away to lend a helping hand to the camera operators and crew. Over the years, he was hooked! Joey attended the University of Arizona, but furthered his love of photography while studying in Paris.

Joey shoots for top independent fashion designers, and Look Books in New York City. In addition, also enjoys sharing and teaching at lectures and workshops and currently holds a position as a product researcher for BH Photo in NYC offering his expertise to professional photography products.

Feature: The Depths of Quality Light

High end strobes and fashion: Bring your camera for this hands on demo with high-end fashion photographer Joey Quintero. Using the latest in strobe lighting and a multitude of lighting accessories, Joey will begin by providing insightful explanation behind the technical application of strobe lighting and how increased camera quality is requiring less light with amazing results. From there, Joey will offer plenty of time for hands-on training walking groups step-by-step through a high-key fashion shoot and the do’s and don’ts of your results. Due to the hands on nature of this event, space is limited and available on a first-come, first serve basis.

Westcott Expert: Lighting Demonstrations

Great portraits begin with great lighting. Using real-world demonstrations, you’ll learn ways to ensure quality lighting for indoor and outdoor portraits. This session will cover popular lighting styles, correct light positioning, proper exposures and everything in between. Whether you’re working with studio strobes, constant lights or speedlites, you will learn techniques that will instantly improve your lighting skills both in the studio and on-location.
